SUMMER RELIGIOUS EDUCATION RESOURCES
While our CliF Notes children’s curriculum takes a hiatus for the months of July and August, summer can be a great time to check out some of the other online religious education resources that the CLF has to offer. The KidTalk web page for children, parents and religious educators; Between Sundays, with lesson plans designed to help answer a variety of children’s religious questions; uu&me!, the CLF’s magazine for UU kids; back issues of the REsources for Living column in Quest – the list goes on and on. Just go to the CLF website and choose the Religious Education menu.
But how do you find just the piece you want in all that mass of offerings? Simple, really. It’s called the Index of RE Resources. All of our CLF online RE materials are catalogued in an index that is searchable by topic and age. So if you’re looking for an activity for Father’s Day or an answer to the question “Who is Buddha?” or an explanation of our second UU principle, you can just enter your topic and age group and pull up a link to what you need.
The password to use the Index of RE Resources is available to CLF members and subscribers to RE Express Plus by contacting Beth Murray at bmurray@clfuu.org.
